Improve Your Life With Passion!

Can you remember a time when you were thrilled to wake-up each morning? Can you remember when you were excited to leap into the days activities with exhuberance and joy?

When passion is alive within you, your every moment creates an abundance of happiness. You have a rush of enthusiasm to face the day, to meet your friends, to do work, to clean the house, to make dinner, and so on. If every moment of your life has at least some passion you create your own happiness.

Unfortunately, many people have lost their passion. Stuck in the rut of today's society people are in a constant struggle to maintain a cycle of work, eat, sleep, work, eat sleep... this cycle has drained their ability to feel passionate. They become so rigid in this cycle that they feel they are incapable of making change. Confused and frustrated they yearn for a sense of aliveness, but instead are faced with the belief and attitude that change is just not possible. In this sleep-like state they continue their daily routine without hope.

If this is you - it's time now to wake-up! Passion can change your life. Listen to your feelings. Feel what it is you truly desire in your life and take the steps to make these changes. Your heart will be your guide. Realise the mind games that are limiting your potential and work to eliminate them. Feel your inner aliveness awakening and take action to improve your life!

What makes you passionate? What makes you feel alive and filled with joy? What makes you smile?

Laughter Yoga to Improve Your Life

Laughter Yoga changed my life.

When I became a Laughter Yoga Leader I discovered the healing qualities of this unique yoga workout. Over a two day session our group went through a variety of laughter activities which released stress, exercised our internal organs and created a unique connection between us.

For me personally, the weekend of laughter released a lot of pent up stress and anxiety. You see, anxiety was a ‘normal’ state of being that I learned throughout my childhood. These patterns of thoughts and behaviours insisted that I feel a certain amount of anxiety and stress … every day … to feel ‘normal’. However, after a weekend of laughter this stressed state of mind and body were gone and I felt like a different person.  In its place I felt peace and serenity.  It was as if Laughter Yoga gave me the permission to NOT feel anxiety and stress and instead use the movements of laughing to release the negative emotions. When you laugh with your whole body it is a similar movement to crying. Your whole body is engaged in the release of stuck energy. After this energy was released I was happy, but I also gained clarity of thought and understanding.

In Laughter Yoga you don't need to be happy to laugh, and you certainly don't need a reason to laugh. Laughing yoga involves a variety of fun laughing yoga exercises using the imagination and child-like play to encourage laughter. As you probably know from your own experience, laughter is contagious, so once you start laughing you find yourself smiling throughout the day.... often for no particular reason... and with a giggle or a snort not far behind.

I was rather surprised one day when my daughter said, "Mum, you have a new laugh." And I did. It was a rather odd laugh, and one that I wasn't particularly fond of..... which made me rather embarrassed… but I LAUGHed! It seems that once you're aware of laughing, through Laughter Yoga, you discover a multitude of laughing styles. So go ahead and laugh! You will be pleasantly surprised how much it will improve your life.... after all laughter is the best medicine!

Please enjoy this LOL video for an added giggle to your day!

Deep Inner Healing

Let's travel together to explore the inner essence of your being. Who are you? What's inside that makes you tick?

Deep inner healing is a process of becoming deeply intimate with yourself and healing your emotional pain. This requires courage, perseverance and a dedication to improving your life.

Nearly everyone on the planet carries a certain level of emotional pain. This pain varies in intensity, strength and how much it impacts on the quality of life. Emotional pain is covered by heavy negative emotions such as fear, anger, blame, guilt, shame, and so on. It is held in place by core beliefs, thought patterns and attitudes.

In our inner exploration of who you are we start by exploring your everyday thoughts and attitudes to life. Yes, it would be great to jump directly to healing the emotional pain but deep inner healing is an in-depth process of recovery and heart healing. This is a powerful journey. We must start our travel by discovering what is truly affecting you in your everyday life. This will be revealed as you explore your thought processes and attitudes - they occur every moment of your day.

After reading this blog I encourage you to pick up your pen, or perhaps type, all the thoughts in your head for at least ten minutes. Be prepared to sit there without interruption. Any thoughts you doubt or are embarrassed about– write/type them too. EVERY SINGLE THOUGHT needs to be witnessed by your conscious mind. Conscious awareness is the only way to catch the thought patterns that are running through your mind. Also, the more you do this, the more you notice different patterns.

You deserve a healed life. Look within and know yourself.

In following blogs I’ll explain what to do with the writings in your journal… to go even deeper into your inner healing.

Divine Blessings,
Carmen

Create Your Life Consciously

Your thoughts are powerful tools to improve your life.

Why should you bother with changing your thoughts?

If your thoughts are negatively spun they impact on your levels of self-esteem, self-confidence and can hinder your motivation, creativity and success in life. Also, whether people are aware of it or not they feel the energy vibration you are giving off through your thought patterns, feelings and emotions. By having uplifting positive thoughts in your mind people will be more attracted to you, eager to spend time with you and your relationships will improve.

Take some time throughout your day to watch your thoughts and notice what's going on in your mind. One of the best ways of doing this is to start journalling. Take 5 minutes of your day and write down everything thought scrolling through your mind.

You might discover thoughts that are embarssing, judging, overly critical, negative, put downs, and so on. THESE are the thoughts you want to change. Once you are aware of them through your journalling you can take action to change them.

Changing your thought patterns is a simple process, but it does require some dedication. Watch your thoughts with care throughout the day. Remain vigilant to find any negatively based ones. When you come across a negative thought  - sometimes playing like a record in your mind without your immediate conscious knowledge of it - tell it to STOP. Then replace it with a positive thought.

For instance, if you tend to be judgemental towards other people (secretly in your mind) and through journalling you become aware of this THOUGHT HABIT... stop the judgement and replace it with something more positive. It will sound something like this:

"Oh wow, she looks awful today."  STOP  - A positive thought, "She has such a nice smile."

Choose your thoughts with care and change any negatives to positives. You will feel happier and more joyful.

In addition - Did you know that your thoughts, by themselves, are incapable of realising truth? They are not facts. Thoughts are not knowledge, but instead a condition of the limitations of society’s constructs. You only 'become what you think' if you engage with your thoughts as truth. Only then do thoughts transform into a belief system which have the potential to create your reality. But do not believe everything you think. Many thoughts are ‘programs’ you learned throughout your childhood and life’s experiences – these are set within the confines of the structure of society’s structures and rules. It is therefore important to explore the impact of your thoughts on the quality of your life. Make them more personal attuned to your dreams and goals.

Carefully choose a way of thinking that will enhance your quality of life and will create the life you desire. Certain thought patterns have the power to suppress your ultimate potential just as much as other thought patterns have the power to make your dreams come true. Watch your thoughts with care and make a conscious choice which ones you want to resonate with. Set free your inner awesomeness and improve your life!
